Product Review: TRESemmé Split Remedy Sealing Serum

Hello!
Around mid March (I think), I attempted DIY dip dye in my hair. Whilst giving me some nice blonde ends, it also bleached the life out of the ends. My trip back to China did not help either as the climate was EXTREMELY dry.
So after I got back to the UK, split ends started to appear and panic kicks in! I went to Superdrug and saw the new TRESemmé Split Remedy Sealing Serum on offer at 2 for £5.99 (Normal price £5.99, I think). After taking £2 off them with my Beauty card, I got 2 bottles of this for £3.99.
On the packaging of this product it stated that a pump of the serum should be enough, and the serum should be applied to wet hair from mid length. However for my hair I found that one pump of the product is just not enough, in fact I needed quite a few pumps of it to cover my hair from mid length to the ends. After application you should just leave your hair to dry. The serum has left a weird sticky feeling on my palms, despite applying most of it on my hair and the weird thing is that the sticky feeling stays after I washed my hands with water?

It claimed on the packaging that the serum should seal 80% of the split ends after 3 days. Looking at my hair now I can still spot the odd split end, but my hair is definitely looking and feeling a lot better. My hair now feels smoother and a great contrast from the frizzy hell it was before I used the serum.

Overall I am happy with this product and can't wait to see what it can do to my hair if I keep using it! I don't like the sticky feeling on my hair (In contrast of almost weightless from frizz ease.) and how I need a fair bit of the serum to actually cover my hair properly. But it is an good product to act on split ends!

More stuff coming up!
